Roxana Cocos – APRN, MSN, FNP-C
Roxana graduated with honors from the University of Texas in Dallas with a Bachelor’s in Neuroscience and from the Texas Woman’s University with a Bachelor’s in Nursing. In 2011, she completed her education with a Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University.
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she has worked in Family Practice, Primary Care, Urgent Care, and Endocrinology. This has given her a well-rounded foundation of experience in treating patients.
Roxana is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a proud member of the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine and of the Academy of Preventive and Innovative Medicine.
Roxana is passionate about personalized health and medicine. While working as a Family Nurse Practitioner, she found the “pill for every ill” model dysfunctional and misleading. Treating only the symptoms rather than the causes not only failed to resolve the patients’ conditions but often caused even more side effects. In her search to solve this puzzle, she was introduced to Integrative Health and Medicine while attending a conference. She completed with honors the two-year postgraduate fellowship in Integrative Health and Medicine.
Roxana is driven to empower patients to take control of their own health and to help guide them on their paths to wellness.

“5 stars — I recently had an appointment with N.P. Taylor Troup. I traveled from out of state because I believed that Renewed Vitality was the answer to many of my unanswered medical questions. Taylor was amazing! She was thorough, caring, a great listener, and an encourager. She explained everything in detail and designed a plan of action to tackle issues that have been plaguing me for years! I left the appointment very hopeful… more so than I have been in a VERY long time! Thank you, Taylor!” – Phyllis N.
